‘Narcos: Mexico’ Season 3

Netflix, 5 NovemberThe prequel to the popular crime thriller show is returning to Netflix for its third and final season, focusing on the newly independent Mexican drug cartels as they navigate political upheaval and escalating violence. In the trailer of the season finale, it seems like fans will be witnessing that a lot of things are going to be really violent with more gunfights, drugs busts and more. The 10 episodes will be available for streaming on the release date.

‘The Harder They Fall’
Netflix, 3 November

Here is another bloody pleasure: ‘The Harder They Fall’ starring Idris Elba, Regina King and more memorable actors. The film, co-produced by Jay-Z, is packed with memorable Black characters from the Old West who have generally been overlooked in the genre. Jonathan Majors stars as Nat Love, a cowboy whose gun-slinging crew faceoff with the outlaw Rufus Buck (Elba) who killed Love’s parents years ago. The large cast also includes LaKeith Stanfield, Delroy Lindo, Zazie Beets and Danielle Deadwyler.

‘The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present’
Paul McCartney

McCartney‘s forthcoming career-spanning biography, The Lyrics, will recount the musician’s life through his earliest boyhood compositions, songs by The Beatles, Wings and from his lengthy solo career. It will also be presented with previously unseen drafts, letters and pictures from his personal archive. It is among 13 titles nominated for the book of the year honour. The Lyrics is arranged alphabetically to provide a kaleidoscopic rather than chronological account of McCartney’s life.
