Amazon Prime’s sci-fi epic The Expanse is finally returning for its sixth and final season this Friday. The show depicts a future where humans have colonised the solar system which is divided up between Earth and Mars, while ‘belters’ are left mining the asteroid belt. The show follows the crew of the Rocinante who find themselves caught between warring factions and must struggle to make it through alive. The sixth season should prove to be an action-packed and incredible finale to this series. Picking up with the solar system at war, season 6 finds the crew of the Rocinante at odds with the powers of the belt, contending with what could be solar system destroying threats – all while coping with the death of one of their own. This show is often lauded as being the most scientifically accurate depiction of sci-fi; find out why by bingewatching this show on Friday from start to finish.

The Unforgivable
Netflix, 10 December

Starring the Academy-Award winning actress Sandra Bullock, The Unforgivable is set to release this Friday. The movie follows Ruth Slater, a woman who is released from prison after serving a sentence because of the violent crime she committed. Her struggle to put her life back together is the focus of this movie and should offer many dramatic moments, as it becomes apparent that the world she lives in is not ready to forgive her past. Bullock is accompanied by fellow academy award winner Viola Davis, as well as Jon Bernthal and Vincent D’Onofrio, creating a truly star-studded cast. There is surely going to be incredible acting on display throughout, particularly when the story begins to unfold. For fans of dramatic thrillers, this is a must-watch movie.

Her popularity has this new album hotly anticipated as it is sure to be a smash hit! The album actually comes in two formats, the original and unlocked. Keys explained these as ‘The Originals come from that classic side of me! The Unlocked side, I wanted to sample The Originals to create a whole other sonic experience.’ Hopefully, this means that regardless of whether you want just classic Alicia Keys or are up for something new, you’ll be able to find it with this new album.
