QAC General Manager Hesham Al Sahn said that in light of the current circumstances, with many vehicles sitting unused, these tips are important to help drivers maintain and avoid damage to their vehicles. He said that this is part of their mission to raise awareness and provide support to customers.
Fuso also recommends parking the vehicle on a flat surface, ensuring that tires are positioned straight. Also make sure to secure vehicle using chocks and increase the tire pressure by approximately two bars above the standard pressure to prevent the tires from deflating.
It is also important to regularly start the engine, letting it run for 15 to 30 minutes once a week and to move the vehicle slightly.
