The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior will be conducting a traffic awareness campaign targeting the spectators of the football match between Rayyan and Al Ahli football clubs on Thursday 20 February 2014 at 7:15 pm in the Ahmed bin Ali stadium of Rayyan Sports Club on Dukhan Road.
On the sidelines and during the match, the spectators will get brochures on pedestrian safety in English, Urdu, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Tamil languages. The banners on traffic safety will be displayed at different entrances of the stadium and the traffic awareness films also will be exhibited during the match on the main display screen. The mobile traffic safety awareness vehicle under the Traffic Department also will participate in the campaign. The winners of the traffic safety awareness competition that will be held in the hockey stadium at 5:30 pm will be awarded prizes. The companies willing to send their labors to take part in the awareness campaign and watch football match freely are urged to reach at the hockey stadium at 5:30 pm in order to participate in the awareness event and win prizes in the traffic awareness competition.
The management of the Rayyan Sports Club has announced fabulous prizes for the spectators, such as the mega prize of five cars and 40 air tickets to London, Paris, Thailand, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Egypt and Sudan. In addition to this, the spectators also can bag 20 Nos. of Galaxy Samsung and 20 iPads through the draw held on the entry tickets that will be distributed freely for the spectators of Rayyan Sports Club.
The organisers have arranged special area for families and invite the general public to attend the road safety awareness program and enjoy the match free of charge and to win more than 84 valuable prizes. The club urges the spectators to arrive at the stadium before 5:30 pm in order to ensure the seat.
