The Youth Company is proud to announce the ninth edition of its Leadership Conference on youth empowerment and leadership which took place at the finest address in Qatar, The St Regis Hotel on 26 and 27 February.

The conference will host 100 delegates from all various backgrounds, ages 14 to 20. It will revolve around the theme “A Better Tomorrow”. It aims to develop leadership skills among youth through a series of interactive workshops, panel discussions and learning activities in an attempt to inspire the youth of the Arab world to become leaders for a better tomorrow.

The first day of the conference will require delegates to take part in exciting and diverse workshops, which will be administered by experienced trainers. The workshops are divided into 6 different topics: How to be a Global Citizen, Foundations of Leadership, Social Responsibility, Team Development, Public Speaking and Project Managing.

On the second day of the conference, delegates will be separated into groups. Each group will receive a business model canvas that they are required to follow. Groups will have to strategies and implement a specific prompt and present it to a panel of judges. It will then be critiqued during their presentation based on the detailed judging outline. The winning group will receive a special gift. There is also a two-night stay voucher with breakfast at the St. Regis hotel to be given to the overall best delegate.

Since its debut in 2012, The Youth Company Leadership Conference has been providing a platform to more than 780 students as they start their journey to become future leaders for a better tomorrow.
