Over 10,000 visitors flocked to The Pearl-Qatar to participate in water sports
United Development Company (UDC), master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, has wrapped up its exclusive ‘Spend & Splash’ summer campaign at the Lido Venezia Beach in Qanat Quartier and the Marina Gate 2 in Porto Arabia.
The month-long event, which took place from 1 to 31 August, attracted more than 10,000 visitors to the water activities, bolstering retail businesses across The Pearl-Qatar. The campaign featured a variety of recreational events that brought fun and excitement to residents and visitors. Participants enjoyed shopping and dining across The Pearl-Qatar and lounging on its beautiful beaches.
Participants flocked to the event site to engage in water sports and enjoy the Waterslide, Inflatable Water Park, Hydro Bike, Beach Swing, Beach Volleyball, Bubble Soccer, Doughnut and Banana Rides and Kids Outdoor Cinema on Qanat Quartier Beach as well as Parasailing and Wakeboarding at Porto Arabia’s Marina.
Retail business activity picked up at various outlets where shoppers exchanged their receipts for activity coupons that were delivered at booths on Lido Venezia Beach in Qanat Quartier and at the Marina Gate 2 in Porto Arabia.
‘Spend & Splash’ is part of UDC’s efforts to create fun events for families to enjoy within the charming surroundings of The Pearl-Qatar and to stimulate retail trade across the island. The company has launched several initiatives to introduce visitors to shops, restaurants and cafes aimed at establishing The Pearl-Qatar’s position as a leading tourism and entertainment hub.
