Citizens and expatriate residents of Qatar can now apply for visas to Ukraine at their new Visa Application Centre jointly launched by the Embassy of Ukraine in Qatar and VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.

With the launch of the centre, applicants no longer need to visit the Embassy (except for additional interview as per request of the Consul in each personal case) and instead  submit their visa applications to the VFS Global centre in Doha.

The Visa Application Centre provides outbound travellers from Qatar a very convenient visa application platform, ensuring enhanced quality of services and seamless procedures. It should be noted, however, that the Visa Centre will only provide applicants with pre- and post- decision-making services; the decisions on visa issuances will continue to be carried out only by Ukrainian diplomatic mission.

During the official inauguration of the Visa Application Centre recently, Charge d’Affairs of Ukraine in the State of Qatar Vasyl Bodnar said, they are pleased to partner with VFS Global and accelerate the travel processes between Ukraine and Qatar.

Our collaboration is also part of a more global plan to promote Ukraine as an upcoming destination for tourism and business. The launch of the Visa Application Centre comes as part of efforts to modernise existing visa procedures according to the best world standards. This is a step forward in Ukraine’s goal to serve applicants more efficiently.’

VFS Global has been associated with the Client Government of Ukraine since 2017 and presently serves applicants through a network of 57 Visa Application Centres across 34 countries.

Vinay Malhotra, VFS Global Regional Group COO for Middle East, South Asia and China, said today’s event reflects Ukraine government’s faith in their abilities and commitment to provide unparalleled quality of services to visa applicants in Qatar.

The new Visa Application Centre is now open to promote tourism to Ukraine and a testament to the keenness of VFS Global to strengthen ties with government entities worldwide.’

Managed by professionals trained to provide secure services in an efficient manner, the centres also offer optional Premium Lounge services to visa applicants for a more personalised service as well as doorstep delivery of passports. Visa Applicants in Qatar may visit the centre at the 3rd Floor of Jaidah Square, Al Matar Street (Airport Road). Queries and appointment requests may be directed to their call centre number – 4423 1184 or through email at info.ukraineqatar@vfshelpline.com.
