Running through Saturday 8 February 2014, the carnival features a line up of exciting acts, including Living Statues, a 3D artist, a music parade, violinist in a bubble and a variety of kids’ activities such as face painting, puppet shows and cartoon characters.
Marketing Manager of Villaggio Mall, Carol Sabbagha, said:
We are delighted by the enthusiastic response to this first edition of the Villaggio Spring Carnival. We have noticed an increase in the number of visitors and the level of engagement of the audience with the different activities. Our aim in creating the festival was to create memorable moments for families and tourists visiting Qatar during this school spring break period. We are always looking for new ways to engage our visitors and provide them with a valuable experience that goes beyond shopping. As we strive to remain a top destination in Qatar, we seek to always add something new and different to our audience.’
In the Gondolania’s kids corner, children and families can watch a puppet show, color and get their faces painted – all of this while meeting and greeting their favourite characters. Children of all ages will find plenty to enjoy.
Throughout the mall, visitors will find surprises waiting, including an LED light parade, musicians performing international music, stilt walkers, two interactive 3D paintings placed in the luxury area and facing Paul restaurant and many opportunities to take photographs. These activities add to the unique ambiance and mix of shopping that Villaggio Mall already offers to visitors.
Defined by Venetian-styled interiors and a diverse range of shops, the Villaggio Mall is one of the largest retail destinations in Qatar and a main tourist attraction in the country. Spread over 125,000 sqm, Villaggio offers a combination between popular mainstream brands and high-end luxury brands with a variety of dining and entertainment options.
