The Westin Doha Hotel has unveiled a unique concept for Ramadan this year, with a new drive-through service for Iftar and Suhoor. The hotel created this personalised service for guests to be able to enjoy a warm meal conveniently and at the comfort of their home.

Guests can place an order via WhatsApp or by calling the Westin Food and Beverage team and specify the exact time of pick up. Westin’s dedicated chefs have carefully designed set menus that include international and Arabic cuisine and dishes from their signature restaurants such as Sabai Thai and Hunters.

Not your ordinary takeaway

Thai food lovers can order their favourite chicken cashew nuts or beef green curry and a mouth-watering serving of mango sticky rice for dessert. As for meat fans, Hunters Room and Grill will also have the most tender briskets ready, slow-cooked for 16 hours.

Additionally, guests can also select from any of Westin’s four Suhoor Trays to-go – a savoury tray with cheese skewers, mini quiche tart, an assortment of salted crackers, and finger sandwiches; a sweet tray containing mini Arabic sweets, kunafa, baklava and mini eclairs; a snack tray with hummus kebab, shawarma bites, mini brisket sliders and more; and finally a fruits tray with a special chocolate dip.

Westin drive-thru 1You can also order an Arabic sweets box and dates and hampers with an assortment of sweets and cakes.

Westin Director of Operations Rui Eduardo said they were inspired to create the drive-through concept in keeping with new customer behaviour and the popular new trend of people preferring to order food via drive-through. He is confident that the new service will be a hit this Ramadan

We also wanted to provide our guests with a convenient service, offering different cuisines and flavours to enjoy with their families at the comfort of their home.
