‘Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches’ Opens in Medina Centrale at The Pearl-Qatar
A ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening was held at ‘Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches’ in the attendance of Mansoor Al Ansari, Managing Partner of Waleema Food Services, with Jeff Sinelli Founder & Chief Vibe Offer and Members of Which Wich HQ Executives from the US. A number of chief executives of Qatari companies, senior officials from Qatari football entities and United Development Company (UDC), the master developer the Pearl-Qatar, in addition to a group of social figures in Qatar amid local media were also in attendance. Al Ansari said:
We are thrilled to officially open Which Wich’s doors and welcome families and employees living and working in the area to experience the first of these sandwich shops to open in Qatar.
The shop is known for customisable sandwiches with fresh and unique ingredients and signature sandwiches, such as The Wicked that consists of five meats and three cheeses, they also hold many vegetarian options such as black bean patty. The fast casual sandwich shop also has a creative ordering system that allows customers to use a red Sharpie marker to pick ingredients on pre-printed menus on sandwich bags. The shop also provides milkshakes, house chips and cookies, along with a featured newspaper reading stations and free wi-fi.
Which Wich is a fun type of experience, and the concept of ‘making it yourself’ assures total satisfaction—which they guarantee! Just go in, select a sandwich from one of ten categories, grab a preprinted sandwich bag from the selection you made, a red Sharpie, and mark it up selecting the type of protein mix, bread, cheese, spreads, dressings, spices and vegetables of your choice. Your sandwich is prepared to your exact specifications and delivered to you in your personalised sandwich bag—in a matter of minutes.
At Which Wich in The Pearl-Qatar, customers order by selecting from 51 sandwiches, 60-plus ingredients and marking their choices on a brown paper bag, which travels down the line as the sandwich is being made. Meats, cheeses, veggies and other ingredients are cut fresh several times a day, Al Ansari said. He also stated that his company is planning on expanding within other areas of Qatar.
The shop will also start delivery within the Pearl Island, Zig Zag & West Bay Lagoon Soon, along with corporate lunch catering for companies in the West Bay Area.
