More than 1,000 innovators from over 100 countries and multiple sectors, including NGOs, business, government, the media and education, will meet in Doha, Qatar to break new ground in education at the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE).

WISE is dedicated to building the future of education through innovation. This global collaborative initiative was inaugurated in 2009 by Qatar Foundation on the initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. Its mission is to address the challenges facing 21st century education, to expand dialogue around the world and to implement practical and sustainable solutions.

  • Announcement by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, of a significant new education initiative that will be a practical and powerful step towards getting 61 million children into school

    • Forging New Links with Chief Executive of the UK’s National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (Nesta) Dr Geoff Mulgan; Dr François Taddei of Centre for Research and Interdisciplinarity at Paris Descartes University; and Gwang-Jo Kim of UNESCO Regional Bureau for Education in Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok
