Following its social responsibility plan, Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) PQSC, recently organised an informative session for Banking and Finance students of Qatar University titled Risk Management Best Practices.
The session was hosted by Oliver Schwarzhaupt, Group Chief Risk Officer at al khaliji, who discussed the different ways university students can explore the field of banking and finance through special initiatives and activities.
al khaliji has put its many years of experience along with the expertise of its senior executives at the fingertips of Qatar’s young generation of aspiring professionals, to help them gain a new perspective on banking and finance as a sound career choice.
The session witnessed the participation of a large number of Qatar University students, who were keen to interact and discuss the topics as well as learn more about al khaliji, and the country’s banking sector as a whole. The event is part of the bank’s efforts to bridge the gap between the education field and the sector’s job market.
