Ten business associations in Doha, in partnership with Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) will bring together business leaders and decision makers to the most important networking gathering for Qatar’s international business community this Tuesday, 24 October, at City Centre Rotana Doha.

Back 2 Business Qatar represents a vital opportunity for local and international investors to come together in an informal business networking platform. Leaders from various industries meet every year to create synergies and share valuable information on the market. Qatar Airways is the official airline partner while Marhaba Information Guide is the official media partner.

At this moment of transition in Qatar, the international business community is eager to cooperate with the country’s progress and it is fundamental to share experiences and gather the opinions of different industry experts. The solidarity expressed by the expat community towards Qatar, in recent occasions, attests to its faith in the country’s vision and leadership and to its future achievements.

The Back 2 Business networking event, is a testament to how the various business councils have grown together towards one common goal: facilitate inter-organisation operations of international entrepreneurs through networking dynamics.

Back 2 Business was launched in 2004, by the German Business Council and the Italian Chamber of Commerce. Its casual dinner atmosphere and no conference-style format, promote positive and effective dialogue among business leaders and decision makers.

QFC Business Director El Sadiq Hamour said the Back 2 Business event provides a valuable opportunity to network with a host of key stakeholders.

Despite the current regional uncertainty, business continues as usual for the QFC and Qatar remains open for business. We remain focused and committed to the growth of our firms. We are an important component of the domestic economy, offering a transparent and efficient platform to firms wishing to do business in and from Qatar. Our model is unique in the region, and an increasing number of institutions from Qatar and around the world are benefitting from our platform.’

According to Palma Libotte, Chairperson of the Italian Chamber, the participants will be wearing a coloured badge that corresponds to a particular business sector.

This is an ice-breaker, an informal method to initiate exchanges immediately, much better than standing around and waiting for the right person to engage.
