The alumni of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) welcomed the Class of 2023 at a ghabga held at the CMU-Q building in Education City. More than 200 alumni and seniors gathered to meet and network. CMU-Q is a Qatar Foundation partner university.

CMU-Q dean Michael Trick said they are delighted to host the gathering and to introduce the Class of 2023 to the alumni.

Our alumni form a strong and supportive community for new graduates, most of whom will be taking the next step of their careers in Qatar.

The first class of CMU-Q graduated in 2008.

When the Class of 2023 are conferred their degrees in May, the CMU-Q alumni network will have members of over 1,200 young professionals. Most CMU-Q alumni remain in Qatar, establishing their careers in a wide variety of sectors.

CMU-Q offers undergraduate degree programmes in biological sciences, business administration, computer science and information systems.
