Public Works Authority Ashghal will temporarily close part of Al Matar Street in both directions, between the D-Ring and C-Ring Roads, for 12 hours from 8—9 March 2018 to install a steel structure of a pedestrian bridge.
During this period, drivers can use the service roads on both sides of Al Matar Street to move between the D-Ring Road and C-Ring Road, and to reach the neighbouring local roads.
The new pedestrian bridge aims to enhance traffic safety and enable pedestrians to safely cross Al Matar Street and reach commercial buildings in the area.
