Halal Qatar Festival

The festival, now in its 11th edition, is in support of the efforts to revive the heritage and preserve the customs and traditions of Qatar through a vivid picture reflecting various details of wildlife and desert life in the country.
The highlights of the festival include Al Mazad or the public auction of sheep and goats; a showcase of Al Izab or barns where different breeds of halal animals such as Syrian and Arab sheep are displayed; and Al Mazain, the competition for the most beautiful sheep and goats.
Please note that the festival will be held in the Southern area of Katara Cultural Village, from 9 am to 9 pm.
