The event was held in celebration of International Customs Day, dedicated to the swift and smooth cross-border movement of goods, people and means of transport, under the slogan, ‘SMART borders for seamless Trade, Travel and Transport’.
GWC Vice Chairman Sheikh Fahad bin Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani received the ‘Best Customs Brokerage Company Award’ presented by the General Authority of Customs President, Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal. GWC Customs Clearance Agent Jalal Hassan Al Alfi also received a ‘Distinguished Customs Clearance Agent Award’ in appreciation of his dedication and cooperation.
