Strengthening STEM education in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia already made significant strides in recent years to strengthen its focus on STEM education, recognising its importance in fostering economic growth and global competitiveness.

The Saudi government has allocated 195 billion Saudi Riyals from its current general education budget to the education sector. The education market of Saudi Arabia is the largest in the GCC, with 300,000 children in kindergartens, 5.5 million in primary education, 1.4 million in higher education and 128,000 in Technical Education.
