The Saudi government has allocated 195 billion Saudi Riyals from its current general education budget to the education sector. The education market of Saudi Arabia is the largest in the GCC, with 300,000 children in kindergartens, 5.5 million in primary education, 1.4 million in higher education and 128,000 in Technical Education.
One of the key initiatives of the Saudi government is to build a world-class education system using STEM and consequently transform the kingdom into a knowledge-based economy.
