Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture

Katara previously partnered with Qatar Museums and the US Embassy to officially launch Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture, which celebrates the long-standing relationship between the two countries and highlights Qatari and American culture and values, including a shared commitment to advancing the important and equal role that women play in society.

The year-long celebration aims to focus on shared and unique contributions by the US and Qatar in the fields of art, health, fashion, science and technology, engineering, mathematics, sustainability, business, sports, education, film, music, and entrepreneurship. It will also highlight each culture and the similarities they share through exchanges, exhibitions, festivals, workshops, speaker programmes, training courses, and events.

Inspired by the Qatar 2030 vision, Katara promotes the vital role that Qatari women play in society as well as their achievements.
