The planned upgrades will include a new larger floating dock, a larger and enhanced workshops and an overall revamping of the facilities aimed as part of introducing unique services to support specialised areas of the ongoing development in Qatar.

Royal HaskoningDHV CEO Erik Oostwegel said they are honoured to be appointed by Milaha shipyard for the major upgrade in the production facilities, which he said is set to meet the challenges of the next 40 years. The upgrade is expected to commence in early 2019 and completed by third quarter of 2020.
