Minber: The Stage

Minber Exhibition

‘Minber’, which in Arabic means ‘the stage’ is a celebration of the artistic practice that is showcased by contemporary artists. The talented group of VCUarts Qatar students employed a variety of approaches, materials and techniques into their paintings and printmaking. The talented artists have adopted an array of research techniques and styles into their pieces that each tell their personal story. The art gallery will create a dialogue of each of the artist’s conceptual and aesthetic backgrounds and what inspired them to visualise each of their personal pieces.

W Doha General Manager Wassim Daaje talks about the latest exhibition at ART 29 and how they are always looking for opportunities to provide young, aspiring artists’ a platform where they can showcase their work and artistic style.
