Printemps Doha, the largest luxury department store in the Middle East, celebrated its official grand opening at Doha Oasis combining fashion, fun, food and much more, in time for the celebration of International Women’s Day.  

HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani, who was guest of honour at the official opening, said she was thrilled to meet the luxury brands that supported local and regional designers.

Doha has lately become a significant inspiring hub for art, culture and fashion, as we have witnessed several collaborations between local designers and worldwide luxury brands such as Dior, Valentino and Cartier. Looking forward to more collaborations to further support the growth of our local talent!

Guests were treated to a thrilling evening filled with surprises including a wonderful diamond prize courtesy of jewellery brand Lorenz Baumer, exciting gifts, live music from Banyan Tree’s Vertigo, various dance performances, a fashion show which highlighted Printemps’ key SS23 brands and signature looks, beauty animations from the likes of Hermes Beauté, Wild Science Lab, Tom Ford, Chanel Beauté, Roja, Clarins, fashion illustrator, glitter make-up bar, and calligraphy from Cartier, Assouline and Penhaligon’s.

Last but not least, Banyan Tree also provided the culinary experience – and for the first time in Qatar with Printemps Doha – these new restaurants and cafés provided everyone with a unique gastronomic experience to remember – Dar Yema, Villa Mossavali, Wild & The Moon, Printemps’ Salon de Thé by Mariage Frères, Pierre Marcolini, Matthew Kenney, Al Rabeya, Twiga, Crazy Pizza and Cova.

Also present at the event were the Ambassador of France to Qatar, HE Jean-Baptiste Faivre and Printemps Paris CEO Jean-Marc Bellaiche, along with other prestigious names in fashion.

Printemps Doha is open Saturday to Wednesday from 10 am to 10 pm, on Thursdays from 10 am to 12 am and on Fridays from 1 pm to 12 am.
