Qatar Clean Program Now Successfully in Place at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl-Doha
Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl-Doha has successfully implemented all the standards and passed all requirements for the Qatar Clean Program, a joint initiative launched by the Qatar National Tourism Council and the Ministry of Public Health.
The programme seeks to put in place measures and regulations that hotels must follow to safeguard their guests, employees, tenants, contractors, and suppliers from COVID-19.
Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl-Doha has been implementing all the new precautionary and hygiene/safety measures since April, becoming the benchmark not only in Qatar and in the region but internationally as well. The ‘Kempinski White Gloves Service’ video initiative has been shared across the globe and has in fact, became a ‘reference’ in the hospitality industry.
The hotel wants guests and visitors to feel like they were ‘home away from home’ everytime they visit the resort, to ensure that they have a safe a memorable stay.
With the implementation of the Qatar Clean Program, the maximum hygiene standards are always followed and in place to ensure full compliance with the hotel’s newly-launched Quality and Hygiene programme:
- Temperature and Ehteraz app check upon arrival for both guests and employees
- Compulsory masks and gloves for employees
- Regular disinfection of public spaces and common areas
- Health and safety advisory displays in both English and Arabic indicating the necessary precautionary measures
- Adherence to proper distancing when queuing, seating in public areas and in restaurants
- New sterilisation procedures in rooms
- Regular compulsory trainings for all employees
