Qatar CSR National Report, Awards

According to event organisers IFP Qatar and Mubadara for Social Impact, Qatar CSR Summit represents the latest addition to Qatar CSR National Program.

Qatar University has been hosting the programme for the past ten years to further develop its activities and provide an effective platform for businessmen, thought leaders and academia to convene and discuss ways of setting up and developing socially responsible businesses that apply the principles of CSR and ESG in their daily operations.

With the addition of the summit to the activities of the programme, the 10th edition of Qatar CSR National Program will now include a Qatar CSR National Report prepared by Qatar University.

The academic report, according to Mubadara for Social Impact General Manager Jack Saba, documents the achievements of national organisations in the field of social responsibility and monitors the progress in social development and Qatar National Vision 2030 goals. The report highlights the achievements of various institutions in the field of social responsibility and supports their position locally and abroad.

On the other hand, the Qatar CSR Awards will recognise the achievements contributing to the development of CSR and sustainability in Qatar.

IFP Qatar General Manager Haidar Mshaimesh announced that this year’s edition of the programme will be concluded with the Awards Gala Dinner at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel on 18 May.

Mshaimesh revealed that the awards programme received close to 100 applications, out of which 30 will be awarded across different categories. The ceremony will also pay recognition to event sponsors and supporters.
