CP Club is a new twist on the members-only arts club based in Msheireb – home to Qatar’s new hub for innovation and entrepreneurship M7, the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize and the recently announced Tasweer photography festival.
Founded by Qatar Museums Chairperson HE Sheikha Al Mayassa Al Thani, in collaboration with Msheireb Properties and Whitney Robinson’s DW Northstar, and under the sponsorship of Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), CP Club provides intimate, inspiring and engaging atmospheres to relax, network and entertain.
The CP Club complex comprises a clubhouse with a café and a members lounge plus 14 unique houses that have been expertly curated by leading international names in fashion and interior design.
Members enjoy exclusive use of the Majlis clubhouse and café, a dramatic reimagining of the traditional gathering space, as well as pop-up boutiques and cafés, bespoke programming, fashion shows, jewellery exhibitions, conversations with designers, artists and architects, and an innovative scent garden designed by master perfumer Julian Bedel. CP Club members also enjoy priority access to rent any of the fourteen designer townhouses.
HE Sheikha Al Mayassa said that the CP Club will be a space for Qatar’s most creative people to meet informally and exchange ideas in a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. Established in the ideal neighbourhood in Doha, amidst the most varied and inspiring settings, she said that the CP Club is ready to welcome a membership as stimulating and inventive as the facilities themselves.
Designer Diane von Furstenberg said it was an honour and a privilege to design a DVF pied à terre in Doha.
What a gem! From being a secret paradise of pearl fishermen to a modern centre of education and art. The more you drive around the more inspiring it gets. The Rem Koolhaas library, Sheikha Moza Foundation, the theatres, the restaurants … all of it is magical! I love Doha!
Multi-disciplinary artist and designer Aisha al Sowaidi, who grew up in Doha, explained that Msheireb holds a lot of memories for her. The area is rich with history and culture.
I thrive on reflecting memories on design and creating objects that conceptually tell a story. Once introduced to the townhouse project, I was taken back in time to Doha, to the streets, to the houses, and to all those emotions attached to them.

In accordance with the mandated health and safety protocols, CP Club members and guests are required to present a Green Ehteraz status and to bring and wear face coverings for the duration of their visit. CP Club also encourages safe social distancing throughout the complex.
