Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas announced the appointment of Rodrigo Ofner as the Resort Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing over 20 restaurants showcasing international flavours.
Rodgrigo brings on board an in-depth progressive industry knowledge of over 20 years from across multiple markets in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East. He started his career working at the Four Seasons Hotel in Lisbon, and has taken on various F&B leadership roles with Belmond, Rocco Forte and Jumeirah Hotels Group. In 2019, he joined the Hilton family as the Food and Beverage Director at Waldorf Astoria the Palm Jumeirah Dubai, UAE; where he worked on increasing profitability of six F&B outlets and managed pool and beach, water sports, kids club and conference and banqueting operations.
In his new role, he will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, streamlining resources to maximise performance and quality standards and implementing effective strategies that create unique dining experiences for guests. He will also focus on creating bespoke F&B concepts to roll out across the resort.

Rodrigo holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland, and speaks four languages fluently – Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian
