We had the opportunity to be invited to one of our all-time favourite contemporary Asian fusion restaurants, Spice Market, in W Doha Hotel & Residences.

Spice Market has introduced a new sushi bar lounge concept. It offers a unique dining experience where you can watch Sushi Chef Didi prepares a variety of sushi, right before your eyes. The concept aims to provide diners with both culinary delight and entertainment.

Spice Market new sushi bar lounge

Our dining adventure began with a trio of spicy yuzu edamame, baked oyster, and salmon teriyaki – each dish providing its own unique play of flavours. A second wave of Japanese cuisine arrived, presenting us with scallop ceviche and toro tartar complemented with the luxury of Beluga caviar – a true celebration of culinary sophistication.

Next, we moved onto the specialty rolls including a truffle teriyaki octopus maki and a salmon teriyaki maki.

And for the grand finale, we were served a large platter of omakase, entrusting our culinary journey in the hands of Chef Didi. This platter included a flavourful kani salad and an assortment of various rolls comprising of salmon, shrimp and tuna.

Our dining experience was rounded off with sweet delights that underlined the finesse of Japanese dessert -making, dream fall matcha tiramisu and Japanese cheesecake.

The experience was made even better with live entertainment, making the lively lounge atmosphere even more enjoyable.

Spice Market’s new sushi bar lounge concept is perfect for a wide range of occasions, from casual lunches and romantic dinners to social gatherings, offering an elevated and sophisticated sushi experience in the heart of Doha.

The recently introduced concept at Spice Market is available for both lunch and dinner daily. For reservations or more information, please call 4453 5135 or send a WhatsApp message to +974 7794 3975.
