One night, she discovers that the simulated reality she’s been playing is actually real-life 2099 London. But this isn’t like any game she’s ever played before. It’s real. And her discovery leads her to being a target of dangerous forces, putting her entire family’s life in danger. The show starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video this Friday.

Based on the bestselling books by Soman Chainani, The School for Good and Evil follows best friends Agatha (Sofia Wylie) and Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) after they are kidnapped and taken to an enchanted academy where future fairytale heroes and villains are trained. But the two best friends find themselves on opposing sides of the school. Their differing fates test their bond. Directed by Paul Feig, the star-studded film also includes Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Rachel Bloom, Laurence Fishburne and many others. Now streaming on Netflix.

Swifties, rejoice! Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is releasing her tenth studio album entitled Midnights. She describes the album as ‘the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life… a journey through terrors and sweet dreams, the floors we pace and the demons we face’. Taylor takes to her Instagram account to reveal some information about her new songs, including the opening track Lavender Haze which was apparently inspired by her six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.
