Ginny & Georgia Season 2

Netflix original series Ginny & Georgia starring Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry is coming back for its much anticipated sophomore season this week. It picks up where it left off last season where Ginny and her younger brother were seen riding off on a motorcycle after learning that their mother had poisoned their stepfather. How the characters will deal with the shocking revelations is expected to make for a drama-filled season which, by the way, is rated TV-14, meaning it may not be appropriate for ages under 14.

The Pale Blue Eye
Netflix, 6 January

Set in the early 1800s, The Pale Blue Eye stars Christian Bale as world-renowned detective Augustus Landor who is brought in to investigate the unusual and disturbing death of a student at a military academy in New Year. Determined to solve the strangest and most difficult case of his entire career, Landor recruits a young man, played by Harry Melling (Harry Potter Series), to infiltrate the academy and gain the trust of the students. That young man just happens to be the legendary future poet, Edgar Allen Poe. The film has been rated R ‘for some violent content and graphic images.’
