THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift surprised fans at the 2024 Grammys while accepting an award for ‘Midnights’ by announcing her upcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

Speculation arose before the show about a possible re-release of ‘Reputation’ due to glitches on her website. However, Swift clarified that ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ is her priority, stating it’s a deeply personal project she needed to create. Some fans speculate the album may explore themes related to Swift’s past relationship with Joe Alwyn, which ended recently after a six-year relationship.

Swift herself said: ‘Tortured Poets is an album − I think more than any of my albums that I’ve ever made − I needed to make it. It was really a lifeline for me.’
