The 4th edition of the Education City Golf Club (ECGC) Masters Tournament was held in March presented by W Doha in partnership with Bentley Qatar. The event saw over 100 participants looking to win some fantastic prizes and a special Green Jacket.

In line with the pristine golf course conditions that are seen on a regular basis at Education City Golf Club and Augusta National, the agronomy team ensured the greens had some Augusta-like speed and consistent roll for the participants.

Tom Sweigart was one shot behind Olivier Van Lelyveld who shot a 6 over par 78 to take the first day lead. In a closely fought match between the two participants, Sweigarts’ consistent play ensured his victory by three shots at the end of round two. Mohammed Al Mansour defeated the field in the net division by scoring an impressive 81 points over the two-day tournament.

The winners took home some excellent prizes from W Doha and Bentley Qatar who partnered with the tournament at Education City Golf Club.
