Syria Under the French Mandate: 1918 – 1946

Syria Exhibition at QNL

Organised in cooperation with the Museum of Islamic Art, the exhibition presents political events such as the signing of treaties and subsequent developments in the region during the period of 1918 – 1946. Featuring forty items from the Library’s Heritage Collection and from cultural institutions in France, the exhibition includes historical documents and images, printed books and photographs.
