Vodafone Qatar officially launched its digital Fan Academy as part of its ongoing campaign, We Fan Together.
In partnership with four of the most popular international superfans – El Fil (Tunisia), Birdman (Colombia), Caramello (Mexico) and Mohammed Saadoun Al-Kuwari (Qatar) – the online Vodafone Fan Academy allows football fans to enrol in mini-courses where they can learn how to be the best fan.
Superfan course
Registered fans will have access to various educational video tutorials under several course modules. Each tutorial is led by a superfan, who will lend all their expertise and share their best tips with participants as they progress throughout the course.
Once fans have completed all tutorials, they will take a short test to show what they have learned in the academy. They will receive an official certificate upon graduation and an e-badge to verify their Best Fan status, which they can share on their social media profiles to show off their superfan credentials.
Giveaways will also be presented to three lucky winners who have completed the tutorials and will be chosen via an electronic random draw, once the courses are complete.
Vodafone Qatar Chief Operating Officer Diego Camberos said that fans are the lifeblood of football and it takes a lot of passion and dedication to be a superfan and ride the highs and lows of the game. He said that the Fan Academy is just one of the ways they are using technology to connect fans and help them get the most out of their fan experience.

Through the We Fan Together campaign, Vodafone Qatar is inviting all local as well as international fans to join their current range of exciting activations. Vodafone Qatar’s Fan Academy will run until 18 December.
