The Qatar Chamber General Assembly Meeting (GAM), originally scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 10 May, was postponed due to lack of quorum. The announcement for the rescheduled GAM was made by Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani.

The second GAM will be held on 28 May at The Ritz Carlton, Doha regardless of the number of attendees.

An earlier invitation was dispatched to members to discuss and review the report of the Board of Directors on the chamber’s activities and financial status for the year ending 31 December 2022.

The agenda also includes approval of the auditor’s report on the chamber’s budget, final accounts and review of the statement of revenues and expenses for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2022; discharge of members of the Board of Directors; approval of the estimated budget for 2023 fiscal year; and appointment of a new auditor for 2023.

The GAM is also expected to witness the election of a new Board of Directors for the seventh council.
